Here is how the diet works
Carbohydrates are the main source of energy for the human body. They are found in cereals, beans, legumes, some fruits and vegetables (such as peas and corn), milk, yogurt, pasta, bread and baked goods, and sugary drinks. All these foods are removed from the carbohydrate-free diet and replaced with foods rich in protein and fat, such as meat, fish, eggs, cheese, oil and butter. Nuts and seeds rich in fiber as well as high fat fruits such as avocado or coconut are also allowed.
No-carb recalls the ketogenic diet, which minimizes the daily intake of carbohydrates to 30 grams and provides the rest of the calorie needs a blend of fat and protein. For the carbohydrate-free diet, the recommended amount of carbohydrate varies between 20 and 50 grams.
Dangers of strict resignation
While the renunciation of carbohydrates as a reliable weight loss method is touted (even the Harvard Medical School reports that the keto diet leads to rapid weight loss success), the meaning of the strict waiver must be questioned.
