A year ago, Brazil was the victim of an unprecedented Zika epidemic. The Tiger mosquito-transmitted virus caused more than 180 deaths and 10,000 cases of microcephaly, challenging obsolete healthcare institutions. This year, the virus has fallen dramatically, the World Health Organization is no longer a global accident. But where do we research? What about babies born with severe disabilities, whose parents say they are left behind?
