All about seborrheic dermatitis

Seborrheic dermatitis, also known as seborrheic dermatitis, is a chronic and inflammatory disease that affects the skin. Indeed, it causes the appearance of inflamed red spots on the skin, as well as the detachment of skin scales (dandruff).

What causes seborrheic dermatitis?

This chronic disease is caused by a fungus of the scalp and skin, which is greatly increased on oily skin types. This mushroom is called Malassezia furfur, and the reasons for its appearance are not yet known.

It is known that cold and stress and some other diseases, such as HIV or Parkinson's disease, are the main factors causing seborrheic dermatitis.

How does this disease manifest itself?

As mentioned above, this chronic disease is manifested by the appearance of inflamed lesions and redness, in addition to oily skin patches that fall very easily.
